ARTIST INSTRUCTOR: GUITAR

San Francisco native Alex de Grassi earned national acclaim for his 1978 debut recording, Turning: Turning Back on the Windham Hill label. He’s appeared at the Montreux Jazz Festival, Carnegie Hall, Telluride, Wolftrap, and on many other stages... taught at the National Summer Guitar Workshop, the Milwaukee Conservatory of Music, and his own workshop series... is the subject of a PBS concert/interview television show, Alex de Grassi: The Artist's Profile... and was nominated for both Grammy and Indie Awards for his recording, The Water Garden.
