Grammy-Award winning fingerstyle guitarist Mark Hanson is well known as an author, performer, composer, and recording artist. He contributed two original arrangements to 2005’s Grammy winning "Henry Mancini - Pink Guitar" CD. His recordings play on nationally syndicated TV and radio, including American Idol and Martha Stewart Living. In October, 2009, Mark played for President Obama in San Francisco. He also contributes regularly to Acoustic Guitar magazine.

Called by A Prairie Home Companion’s Pat Donohue “...perhaps the greatest teacher of fingerstyle guitar,” Mark has authored over 30 books and DVDs on playing guitar, available at his website www.AccentOnMusic.com. Mark has shared the stage with the likes of Tommy Emmanuel, Laurence Juber, John Renbourn, and the late Jerry Garcia.
