Acoustic Roots Jam (Drop-in)

Coached by a staff instructor, you play three or four tunes from the old-time, bluegrass, country, and American roots repertoire. Our emphasis is on learning the tunes and playing as a group, including jam session “do’s and don’ts,” and the role of each instrument in the band. While new tunes are taught by ear, instrumentalists should be able to read chord symbols; the ability to read guitar tab and/or standard notation is a plus.

Instrumentalists (guitar, banjo, mandolin, fiddle, dobro, bass, and others) and vocalists welcome.
