Jazz Workshop

Guided by a staff instructor, you play two or three tunes using lead sheets from various Real Books. Along with getting the tunes into your fingers, our emphasis is on learning to play as an ensemble and crafting effective, satisfying solos. Participants should be able to read chord symbols and standard music notation.

Both instrumentalists and vocalists are welcome. (Piano, drum kit, and amps for bass and guitar are provided.)
