Marin Community Music School is looking for a part time school administrator 40 hours/month averaging 10 hours per week; schedule flexible and to be determined by the needs of the school. Must be an organized motivated self-starter.
Manage the School’s master calendar and communicate with teachers and students to assure accurate, timely provision of services. Arrange consultations and placements for new students and assist in scheduling and registering for classes and other school related events.
Make sure the school’s physical plant, supplies, and systems are fully operational.
Provide administrative assistance to the School Director and faculty members in the areas of student relations and facility management.
Skills and Experience:
Required skills are: ease and facility in face to face and telephone contacts with staff and public; effective time management; fluent writing ability; basic spreadsheet management; knowledge of off- the-shelf software tools, and ability to adapt to new programs. Must be able to respond in a timely way to telephone and email inquiries from the public.
